An introduction to one of the most accessible  intaglio processes. Participants should bring a photographic or hand drawn image from which their plate will be prepared. This course is very popular so early booking is advisable.

the technique

 

This technique enables photo or hand-drawn images to be exposed to a metal plate treated with a photopolymer coating; once developed, it can be printed through an etching press without any form of acid biting of the plate .
