'On the Burren' a/p
Galv-etch/chine colle with water washable inks

Rare wild flowers grow safely on The Burren, Co. Mayo, which is a protected area of natural beauty in Ireland. "On The Burren" is a two plate etching on which I experimented for the first time using a salt etch on a steel plate (Plate 1) Plate 2 is made using the photo intaglio method which uses non toxic soda crystals to develop the laminated plate. The final proof is printed on a fine lens paper chine colle, which combines the two plates.
