‘Recycling the Past’ 1/1

These are by no means perfect depictions of a building, maybe just an idea. Through close studying I have realized that these building do not wish to become spectacular pieces of art. They wish to be remembered how they once were. With the buildings embossed I found them much too faint almost as if the paper was controlling them, but with the use of the screen print I found myself bringing out the background, combining the image as a whole. The screen print allowed embossed variations to be given similar outcomes, an organically structured memory if you will.
