"For many years my work has been inspired by the ancient sites of Britain and Ireland. Standing Stones and chambered cairns, the landscape in which they stand, the traditions associated with them and the age-old legends surrounding their origins and uses, are all incorporated in my imagery. I have been to numerous sites throughout the country and these journeys, the weather, stories heard and told, details of the day, have become part of the finished linocuts, lithographs and etchings."
