Henrietta Alexander gained a Diploma in Printed Textiles, National Diploma of Design in Painting and Art Teachers Diploma.Since joining Seacourt Print Workshop in Bangor, she has developed her skills in mainly etching and woodcuts. Colour is important and is introduced through viscosity etching and monoprinting. A more three-dimensional side to her work uses wood and glass - using the tiffany tecnique with staining and fusing.
Subject matter usually begins with drawings of the surrounding landscape, often with figures or animals included, and her family life and Christian faith have sustained her in her creativity.
