"The inspiration for my art is fuelled by a fascination with the everyday, and the constant questioning and reinterpretation of what is familiar. Objects and images from domestic settings have become recurring motifs, constantly evolving and fitting into a wider picture. Recently this has come to involve the space around me, my working space. My focus is no longer on the objects as sole entities, but on the processes and methods I use to change their meaning.
I work with various photographic methods ranging from the traditional blueprint to digital technology. I thrive in the exploration into the unknown, and use these processes to play with images and push them away from direct representation. As a result, I aim to produce outcomes that display a delicacy and personal sensibility."
