The main focus of my work is based on a keen interest in model making, plans, machines and a curiosity in discovering how things work. I see myself as a nutty inventor creating new identities out of old machine parts and the odd fish or two. Printmaking is the perfect graphic medium for me: my work demands deeply etched lines with plenty of accidental foul biting, overprinted with screen-printed photographic details in transparent or screaming luminous colours that only this medium can offer.
