Taken from drawings in the surface of the rock in Monument Valley, during a visit in spring 2007.
Walking among the red rocks, thinking of the families who have known them for centuries, and the people who made the original drawings, - families who enjoyed each new morning with the sun rising on a new day. The families are still there, but some of the animals no longer live among the rocks. Time has moved on.
