When I looked at these photographs it made me think that whilst I have many photographs, taken at various times in my life, none of them really said anything about my culture or background. I felt that in the future someone looking at them would not get the feeling of where I came from or anything about my culture. I therefore wanted my print to have something of myself in it that would say who I was and where I was from.”
