Within every community of mixed cultures, people tend to hold onto something which reminds them their own roots. They also tend to embrace new qualities of life via something material or something more spiritual within their changed environment.
I wanted to make an echo to this through a very simple/symbolic image.
The starting idea has been the old photograph of Abraham Lincoln in the classroom image. The wedding vows are there to express the message of how a society is built by agreed social structures and the individual’s compliance with these. The Lady Bird book is a famous English children’s educational series, teaching the basics in life and how things work. This particular one is of wild animals underlining that we are part of something bigger, a complete ecology. It also indicates how changes bring questions and place us in a situation in which ignorance and knowledge are fused. And finally, you will see the mention of an old English motto/logo “TRUTH will triumph”.
