Ards Arts Collective Training

Members of Ards Arts Collective who attended the first of three weekend workshops in printmaking.

Ards Arts Collective secured Lottery funding through Awards for All to attend SPW for training in printmaking techniques. The first session was in screen-printing led by master printmaker, Penny Brewill. The group learnt how to develop images using photo-emulsion based stencil making. It is hoped that the  participating artists will be able to apply printmaking within their professional practice.

Ards Arts Collective is a not for profit association established in January 2004

The artist run group aims to encourage opportunities for artists and craftspeople living within the borough of Ards. Membership of AAC is open to professional artists and professional craft workers.
