May 2010: SPW's Director was invited
to speak at 'Symposium Matrix' which took place in Vienna.

March 2010:SPW will host a one day symposium
in June exploring definitions of original printmaking in a digital age.
The event is free to the public -booking advised.

September 2009:SPW has collaborated with the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust to create a series of new prints
inspired by the history of its reserve at
Castle Espie.

- International Visiting Artist
July 2009: Mark Graver visits Seacourt Proint Workshop
through its Interntional Visiting Artist Programme funded by North Down Borough Council's.
- New residencies at SPW
March 2009: SPW secured Lottery
funding through The Arts Council of Northern Ireland and North Down
Borough Council to host new residencies at Seacourt Print Workshop.

January 2009: SPW secured Lottery funding through Awards fo All to host Jacob Semko on a three month residency.
- Roderick Buchanan
November 2008: SPW secured funding from the Community Relations Council to assist in bringing an exhibition by Glasgow based artist Roderick Buchanan
to the Ormeau Baths Gallery
in Belfast.

September 2008: Partnership project with Arizona State University
A project exploring the creative process. Our members have
been responding to an amazing photographic record taken at the
turn of the last century documenting Indian tribes-people of the
South West.

the Universe
September 2008: Partnership project with
Armagh Planetarium
SPW launches a new collection of limited edition prints inspired
by Astronomy.
- Safer Printmaking Symposium
August 2008:SPW has received Lottery Funding through Awards for All to host a
symposium
exploring safer printmaking methods. Nik Semenoff and Cedric Green,
internationally acclaimed innovators in this
field, will be delivering an exciting programme of
demonstrations and workshops.

International Visiting Artist
July 2008: Washington based artist Gretchen Schermerhorn has visited SPW for two weeks.
Whilst her she delivered and delivered a weekend workshop on papermaking and bookmaking.
- Ards Arts Collective Training
June 2008: Arts group benefit from printmaking courses
SPW is providing a series of weekend workshops in screen-printing and photo-intaglio.

March 2008: An exhibition by printmakers from Washington DC. This exhibition builds on links forged through the Rediscover Northern Ireland initiative of 2007.
