Shared Future

A project funded and supported by PEACE III programme managed by Special EU Programmes Body and delivered by North Down, Ards & Down PEACE III Partnership.

SPW artists Jenna Kirkwood and Robert Peters delivered a series of workshops exploring the theme of a shared future for all citizens of Northern Ireland irrespective of race colour or creed.

The groups participating were Bloomfield Community Association, Wise the Bap Group, RL Men’s/Women’s Group, Whitehill Community Group and Breezemount Community Group. the artworks were scanned and digitally printed on a large scale for display along Bangor's seafront. The project was managed by Debbie McKinney and Stephen Rice of North Down Borough Council.
