WALL HANGINGS

We really enjoy working collaboratively with schools on print related projects which involve as many children as possible.  We particularly specialise in producing artworks for permanent displays in the school, like wall hangings and murals.

Strand 1: Teacher involvement - We will visit your school to show staff how to prepare, ink and print using prepared plates. This will normally take about  one hour during a staff development after school session.

Strand 2: The teachers share their knowledge and printing skills with their class and each child then will make a printing plate and then print from it to make an artwork to display in class or take home.

Strand 3: The printing plates are collected by Seacourt and then printed by our professional print artists to create wall hanging or murals We can discuss the size of the finished artwork to make sure it fits the available display space you have.

Cost: We will be happy to discuss costs with you and the possibility of obtaining sponsorship/grants to help with any major project.

We are also happy to work with schools on other printmaking experiences.  For example we recently worked with three Donaghadee schools to provide after-school  printmaking for children with professional artists supporting the work.  The results were outstanding and were used by the Ards & North Down Borough Council (ANDBC) to produce street lamp post banners for display along the seafront.   Can we help your children take part in an exciting school or community based printmaking project?  Call us to have a chat.
