This is the oldest form of printmaking and is accessible to everyone. The uppermost surface of the plate is inked up and printed from, like a rubber stamp. The cut marks below the surface do not receive ink and therefore do not print. This introductory course explores forms of relief printing including lino, collagraphs and carborundum. It is tailored to suit individual needs.

This introductory course explores a variety of printmaking techniques, including drypoint, etching, collagraphs and monoprints, tailored to individual needs. You will have an overview of general life in the print studio from a selection of knowledgeable printmakers.
Screen-print £80.00 (8 weekly sessions)

Suitable for beginners and those wanting to develop their understanding of this versatile process. Discover how to make screen-prints with photographic or hand-drawn imagery using safer, water-based inks. Participants should bring a photographic or hand drawn image from which their screen will be printed.
