Improving wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at Seacourt. We even have a Print for Wellbeing Development Officer (generously funded through The Foyle Foundation).

Our members often speak about their time at Seacourt as ‘their time’, a space that they carve out to work and enjoy the community we share. For those who come for a course we aim to give that same sense of decompression and enjoyment.

We also have programmes that are more structured and targeted often taking the 5 ways to wellbeing model as a basis:

Connect. Connect with the people around you: family, friends, colleagues and neighbours at home, work, school or in your local community. ...

Be active. Go for a walk or run, cycle, play a game, garden or dance. ...

Take notice. Be observant, look for something beautiful or remark on something unusual. ...

Keep learning. Learning enhances self confidence and self esteem and is a great way to meet new people.
